Classes
These regular classes are focused on traditional Galician music combining singing and tambourine playing techniques.
Do you want to learn more about Galician traditional folk music? Would you like to learn to play tambourine or improve if you already play?
Come join us if you are interested in playing and singing together! No previous experience is required.
The classes are led by the musician Mano Panforreteiro, who as well as having a broad knowledge of traditional Galician folk music possesses a contagious enthusiasm which makeS his classes thoroughly enjoyable!

Bookings: there is no need to book but please send us an e-mail to double check that the class is on.

Experience level: mixed (beginners welcome).

Materials: if you have your own tambourine bring it along, otherwise spares are usually available. Hand outs with the song lyrics are provided at each session.

Cost: £6 per session.

When: every Wednesday, from 8pm till 9.30pm (apart from the last Wednesday of the month, when we join the Galician Session at the James Street Tavern practising all the learnt material).
